Siting is a filmmaker and artist from Beijing, based in NYC.

Her experimental narrative short, "Blue Reverie,” won the Jury Prize at the 50th USA Film Festival, among other international awards. Siting’s live-action and hand-drawn animated short screened at Times Art Museum in Beijing. She performed figure skating in this film to express the character’s inner world; and figure skating continues to inspire the aesthetics and fluidity of Siting’s film and drawing.

As MAD Architects’ first in-house filmmaker, Siting created the short film "Hutong Bubble,” which was selected for the 2021 Architecture Design Art Film Festival. Siting’s “Live Portrait Drawings of 1000 Human Emotions” social engagement project has been hosted by various art venues and festivals in the U.S. and China.

Siting graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a degree in Film Directing, and has attended Parsons School of Design where she studied Illustration and Architecture. She is a current participant in the BAFTA Newcomers Program and the Beijing Liangjie Culture Media Emerging Directors Program.

In addition to several other shorts, Siting is developing her first feature film, “The Dawn That Killed Me,” which merges her live drawing and architectural vision.
